Frozen Strawberry Tart Recipe

Ingredients : Serves 8

For the base

Cream cheese

Soured cream

Frozen strawberries, thawed and sliced

 

 

Crushed digestive biscuits

Castor sugar

Butter, melted

Method :
  • For the base, mix together the biscuits, sugar and butter. Press the mixture over the base and sides of a 23cm pie dish. Freeze until firm.
  • Blend together the cream cheese and soured cream. Reserve 90ml of the strawberries. Add the rest to the cream cheese mixture.
  • Pour the filling into the biscuit base and freeze until firm, about 6-8 hours. To serve, spoon some of the reserved strawberries on top.
