Chocolate Cheesecake Tart Recipe

For the base

Cream cheese

Whipping cream

Castor sugar

Cocoa powder

Ground cinnamon

Eggs

Whipped cream and chocolate curls, to decorate

 

Crushed digestive biscuits

Crushed amaretti biscuits

Butter, melted

Method :
  • Preheat a baking sheet in the oven at 180oC/350oF/Gas 4. For the base, mix the crushed biscuits and butter in a bowl. Press the mixture over the base and sides of a 23cm pie dish. Bake for 8 minutes. Leave to cool. Keep the oven on.
  • Beat the cream cheese and cream together until smooth. Beat in the sugar, cocoa and cinnamon until blended.
  • Add the eggs, one at a time, beating just enough to blend.
  • Pour into the biscuit base and bake on the baking sheet for 25-30 minutes. The filling will sink down as it cools. Decorate with whipped cream and chocolate curls.
